We continue to grow in Germany and are pleased to announce that Schneider Dach GmbH is now part of the Group, an important step in strengthening our presence in the German market.

Schneider is a 155-year-old family-owned roofing company based in Kassel (Northern Hesse), founded in 1870. The company holds a strong regional position and offers a comprehensive range of roofing services. The family-owned business will now become a cornerstone of Teqt Group’s German platform, while continuing to operate under its own brand with the family remaining in the management.

Schneider currently provides design and maintenance services within waterproofing, tile/slate roofing, sheet metal, solar panels and green (sedum) roofs. A significant part of the business is linked to renovation projects, where Schneider has extensive experience.

**Record snowfall requires rapid response**

Recent snowfall has led to large amounts of snow accumulating on roofs across the country, particularly along the northern coast. When heavy snowfall combines with strong winds, large snow drifts quickly form, significantly increasing the load on roofs. This requires swift actions.

Roof snow removal is a critical part of winter property maintenance. It reduces the risk of roof damage, leaks and structural collapse, protecting both people and buildings. To ensure the work is carried out safely and efficiently, it requires trained personnel, proper equipment and an organisation capable of mobilising immediately when weather conditions change.

At present, several of our companies along the northern coast are operating under demanding conditions. One day we have 50 snow removal workers deployed, the next day 100. In Söderhamn and Bollnäs, Takteknik i Hälsingland AB is active on the roofs. In Sundsvall, Takringen i Norr AB has been reinforced by colleagues from Solenergispecialisten AB. Snow depths exceeding 1.5 meters, combined with strong winds and drifting snow, place high demands on execution.

This is where we demonstrate our strength: strong local engagement, the right expertise, and the ability to scale up quickly when needed. Together, we ensure roofs continue to perform year after year.

Last week was a meaningful moment for us at Teqt Group, as the first cohort of Teqt Management Training gathered in Stockholm for their diploma ceremony and networking. Above all, it was an opportunity to celebrate their own development – and those of us who led the program are truly impressed by the effort they have put in.

The program has deepened participants’ knowledge in leadership, business acumen, economics, sales and working methods. They have learned to set goals, lead people and understand the numbers – but perhaps most importantly, to be part of something bigger.

**Meet Thea Wivallius – One of our skilled sheet metal roofers at Arena Tak AB!**

Today, we extend our warm congratulations to Thea at Arena Tak, one of the many talented sheet metal roofers in our group. Thea has been with Arena Tak since January 2022 and has now, during the autumn, taken the step from apprentice to certified sheet metal roofer.

Thea has always been driven by challenging herself and was introduced to the sheet metal trade through an acquaintance. What she enjoys most about the profession is continuously finding her own solutions and being involved throughout the entire process. A desk job was never an option – the hands-on work and the challenge of taking on something entirely new made the sheet metal trade a perfect match for her.

We are especially proud to see Thea lead the way and now achieve her long-awaited trade certificate. We need more professionals like her – skilled sheet metal roofers remain in short supply within the construction industry, and more are required for our companies to meet future demand.

**HB Blikk + Nico Blikk = Collaboration that strengthens the business**

Before summer, HB Blikk and Nico Blikk carried out a joint roofing project in Kristiansand. Together with carpenters, new roof boarding and roof windows were installed. HB Blikk was responsible for the standing seam metal roofing and flashing around the roof windows on this private residence — a project where Nico needed to strengthen the team during an intensive period. HB Blikk was able to quickly support with several skilled sheet metal workers, and thanks to close collaboration and clear planning, the project was completed quickly and safely.

This is a good example of how organic and profitable growth is created within Teqt Group: by building on what already works, with locally rooted companies collaborating when it creates tangible business value.

**Teqt Norway delivers at a high level**

The Teqt Norway Gazelle Award was this time presented to Tønsberg Blikk og Montasje after achieving an impressive 140% profit growth. A strong performance that demonstrates what can be achieved when drive, quality and teamwork are combined with the right conditions.

The award is given to the company in Norway that has achieved the strongest earnings growth, both in absolute NOK and in percentage terms.

The conference was held at the historic Kongsvinger fortress, where 33 participants from 12 companies across Teqt Norway gathered for two days of experience sharing, networking and fellowship.

**Congratulations Tobias Eriksson Ek – new CEO of Bro & Tak!**

Bro & Tak, founded in 1993, works with roofing, waterproofing, additional insulation and concrete repairs. The company is headquartered in Umeå, with offices in Örnsköldsvik and Lycksele. Tobias joined as a Project Manager in 2019 and is now stepping into the role of CEO, where he will continue to build on the strong local culture that has made Bro & Tak successful.

Tobias seized the opportunity. After applying and completing a selection process, he was admitted to our Management Training programme at Teqt Business School – the centre of our initiative to develop talent and secure the next generation of leaders. The programme brings together engaged and driven individuals from across the group, providing them with tools in leadership, business development and strategy, while supporting our companies in developing leaders for future challenges.

On April 26, this year’s edition of the Teqt Cup took place, this time hosted by Grums Husplåt AB following their victory last year. It turned into a fantastic day filled with community, team spirit and great engagement!

The Teqt Cup is more than just a floorball tournament - it is an initiative that has grown organically from the ideas and enthusiasm of our own employees. Eidsvoll Taktekking AS, part of Teqt Group, has delivered a robust and sustainable roof for Vilberg kindergarten. 

**Green roofs – a roof for future generations**
More and more buildings are being fitted with green roofs, an important part of our sustainability efforts. The sedum roof at Vilberg kindergarten contributes to biodiversity, reduces heat radiation, binds CO₂ and helps improve air quality. It also absorbs rainwater, reducing pressure on the stormwater system and supporting more sustainable water management.

In this project, protecting the building from weather and wind throughout the construction process was essential, which required temporary covering before the final roofing system could be installed. Today, the roof consists of a durable two-layer waterproofing system combined with a green roof, contributing to water retention and a better environment.

**The key to success?**
Careful planning, close collaboration and a solution-oriented approach.

**Teqt Business School launches in Norway – shaping the leaders of tomorrow**

We are proud to have launched our first Management Training programme in Norway. Eight participants have now begun their journey in Teqt Business School Norway, receiving a strong introduction to leadership, business understanding and strategic development. Through workshops and discussions, they have worked with goal setting, identifying their companies’ strengths and areas for improvement, and how they can grow as leaders to support Teqt Group’s continued development.

At the same time, Teqt Business School continues to grow in Sweden, where we now run three parallel programmes – cohorts 1 and 2 in Sweden, and our very first cohort in Norway. In total, 32 participants are currently part of the programme, where we equip the leaders of tomorrow with the tools they need to grow, both as individuals and in their professional roles.

It is our platform for competence development, where we invest in our people through training in leadership, business understanding, legal frameworks and technical expertise. With more than 25 years of experience in the roofing industry, from his first jobs at the age of 16 in Helsinki to founding Solvikin in 2008, Erik is a true expert in his field.

We have received the results from our 2024 employee survey, covering all companies within Teqt Group. The survey was conducted at the subsidiary level and reflects employees’ experiences of their respective employers.
Employee satisfaction reached 4.39 out of 5, and 86 percent of employees are satisfied or very satisfied with their employer. In addition, 59 percent see themselves as ambassadors for their company. These results highlight the strong trust and engagement that exist across Teqt Group.

At Teqt Group, people are at the center of everything we do. Every individual plays an important role in our success. Our companies combine long experience with deep expertise, and we always show respect for employees, customers and partners.

Christer Brovinius

Stefan has worked in entrepreneurial operations in the distribution and manufacturing industries, both in Sweden and abroad. He has extensive experience of both organic and acquisition-driven growth and has completed a large number of acquisitions over the years. He has previously been CEO of TOOLS Sverige AB and Luna AB within the Bergman & Beving Group, where he was also part of corporate management. He has also been CEO of HTC Group AB and held the role of Global Division Director at CTEK.

Sebastian Kihlman has an MSc from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg and has worked with technical analysis and strategy at MEKO AB. He has experience in M&A, business development, international sales, strategy and finance. Today, he supports Teqt Group in M&A and business development with analysis, due diligence and purchasing support.

With a pointed nose, alert ears and a watchful eye, Neo is a natural part of the team. As the security officer, he makes sure that the atmosphere is at its best, that snacks are not left unattended, and that everyone gets their daily dose of joy and tail wags. Neo may be small in size, but his contribution to the working environment is huge.

Rebecca has more than fifteen years of experience in financial management. She has previously been CFO at SkySparc, Head of Corporate Control at Attendo Care, Accounting Controller at Husqvarna AB and Authorised Public Accountant at PwC. With her background in finance and auditing, she currently contributes with strategic financial analysis and effective control.

Fredrik has extensive experience from management positions in the energy and industrial sectors. He has previously been CEO of Infratek Finland and OMEXOM Sweden, COO of Dahl Sweden and Onninen Sweden, and project manager for Vattenfall Eldistribution. In addition, he has held several leading roles within ABB.

Fredrik Karlsson

With more than 30 years of experience in the roofing industry, Tom Ivarsson has been a key player in the development of several prominent roofing contracting companies - not least as one of the founders of Arena Tak, Teqt Group’s first strategic acquisition. As former Business Area Manager at Sika and Head of Sweden at Derbigum, he has established long-term supplier relationships and deepened his product and market knowledge.

Svante has more than 30 years of operational experience from the construction industry in a large number of positions. These include CEO of NCC’s Swedish construction business and CEO of Binab, a former subsidiary within NCC with focus on the roofing and waterproofing market.

She has also previously served on the boards of Hifab and Adapteo.

Christer has more than 25 years of experience as CEO, board member and founder of various growth-oriented service companies. In these roles, Christer has contributed to the business development of companies such as Great Security, LRF Konsult, Broadcast Text and Com Hem.

Andreas has extensive experience of investing in entrepreneur-led companies and business development from FSN Capital (2008-2020). Former board member of Instalco, Green Landscaping, Nordlo and Roplan. Board member of Nepa (OMX: Nepa) and has previously worked for Deutsche Bank and Carnegie. Experience from a number of stock exchange listings, both as owner representative, board member and advisor. He holds an MSc from the Stockholm School of Economics and the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business. 

Andreas Bruzelius

Anders has extensive experience of transforming industries and has been involved in the consolidation of the Säkra, Nordlo and JOBmeal groups, among others. In addition, Anders has operational experience from the transformation of Hissmekano (family company) into an industry-leading distributor of spare parts for lifts.

Torstein has extensive experience of managerial positions in the building materials industry. He has been Country Manager at Kingspan Insulation AS and National Sales Manager at Sto Norge AS. Previous roles include Key Account Manager at Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes AS and Business Unit Manager at Kraft Chemicals Nordic AS.

Jaakko Piri has more than 20 years of experience from leading positions in companies that manufacture roofing accessories. Among his previous roles is CEO of market leader Piristeel Oy in Finland. Today, he is the M&A/Country lead for Teqt Group in Finland, while holding several board positions in the construction industry.
